On behalf of the Organizing Committee of IWUMD 2022, it is my pleasure to invite you to the 5th International Workshop on UV Materials and Devices(IWUMD 2022) which will be held during May 23~26, 2022 as a Hybrid event at Maison Glad Jeju Hotel, Jeju, Korea.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide unique opportunities for the presentations and open discussion of the latest results on R&D of novel UV materials and devices, new trends in basic and applied research, modeling, and innovative technologies. The workshop would also offer opportunities for the companies to present their new products and applications to the UV-community. The workshop program includes plenary talks, topical sessions with invited talks and oral presentations as well as poster sessions in various topics. I believe that the workshop will provide wonderful scientific and social programs with your active participation in beautiful Jeju Island with as long-lasting memories.
